Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow Overview

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is built around a different mopping concept from the dual rotating pads used by many premium robot vacuums. Its SpiraFlow system uses a roller mop that is refreshed during cleaning, helping separate cleaner and dirtier water as the robot moves.

Roborock combines that hard-floor cleaning system with 20,000 Pa of claimed suction, advanced mapping, carpet protection and a multifunction station for automated maintenance.

SpiraFlow Roller Mopping

A powered roller provides continuous mechanical contact with hard flooring and is designed to clean itself in real time. The roller can also extend toward edges, improving coverage along walls and furniture compared with a fixed central mop.

When carpet is detected, the roller can lift and a protective shield helps isolate the wet mopping area. That wet/dry separation is especially relevant in homes with hardwood or tile next to rugs and carpet.

Vacuuming and Anti-Tangle Brushes

Roborock uses its DuoDivide main brush and anti-tangle side-brush design to reduce wrapped hair. Combined with strong suction, this makes the model relevant to pet hair and longer human hair as well as ordinary dust and debris.

Carpet cleaning can be customized through the app, including strategies that increase vacuuming or avoid certain rugs. As always, very thick or loose rugs can still require testing and may need app-based exclusion.

LiDAR Plus Camera Obstacle Recognition

PreciSense LiDAR creates detailed maps and plans cleaning routes. Structured light and an RGB camera provide another layer for recognizing smaller objects, with Roborock claiming recognition of more than 200 object types.

Camera functions are controlled through the app and are disabled by default for some features. Privacy-conscious users should review the available settings before enabling remote-view or pet-monitoring functions.

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is most compelling for buyers who specifically want a roller-style mopping system but still need strong vacuuming on carpet and pet hair. The carpet shield and mop lift make it better suited to mixed floors than a robot that simply drags a wet pad.

It is a premium, feature-heavy system. Users who mainly need scheduled vacuuming or occasional light mopping can achieve that with a simpler and cheaper robot.
