The Roborock Q7 M5+ is a mapped robot vacuum and mop with the RockDock Plus auto-empty station. It is intended for scheduled maintenance cleaning across hard floors and carpet. PreciSense LiDAR maps rooms, stores multiple floor plans and supports room-specific routines through the Roborock app.<\/p>\n
Vacuuming is the stronger part of the package. The manufacturer rates suction at up to 10,000 Pa and specifies automatic suction increase on carpet. The JawScrapers main-brush comb and anti-tangle side brush are designed to reduce hair wrap, while the 2.7 L sealed dust bag collects debris at the dock. Roborock estimates up to seven weeks between bag changes under its own test conditions; floor area, pets and cleaning frequency affect the actual interval.<\/p>\n
Mopping uses a detachable flat pad with three app-adjustable water-flow levels. It is intended for light wiping and routine maintenance, rather than powered scrubbing. The pad does not lift when the robot reaches a rug, and the dock does not refill the water tank or wash and dry the cloth. Use no-mop zones or remove the pad before carpet runs, then refill the tank and wash the cloth manually.<\/p>\n
Published independent testing found strong suction and efficient LiDAR navigation, with more average results for embedded debris on carpet and pet-hair pickup. The mopping test also left more water than average. The Q7 M5+ is best suited to regular floor upkeep, not deep carpet cleaning or fully unattended mop care.
